For Rick Tocchet, his career has been cut short, due to stupidity. How many other "clients" are involved with the gambling ring? My bet is on lots...I would love for Dick Pound to come out now and revise his statement about "30% of the players on performance enhancing drugs...and are gambling as part of Tocchet's ring".
So much for player integrity. After having to suck it up last year with the league, a few individuals have now tarnished the players side, and don't be surprised that the Great One is implicated in the ring too.
Too much of a coincidence that his wife and assistant coach were front page of the scheme. As wholesome as he has seemed, I never did believe that he was the Golden Boy he and others claimed.
For the NHLPA, I hope you come out clean in this one...otherwise Al Eagleson will be laughing all the way, and give you all a big "HA!". Smarten up players, your performance last year off the ice didn't do too much to instill confidence in the fans.
This is just one more step closer to showing the fans of the game that you are all being even bigger idiots.
