Musharraf has a sense of humour...

I was catching up on the news yesterday, when a Musharraf clip was on...not to minimize the damages and horror of what has happened in Pakistan...but he made a comment when criticized from the crowd about what his government is doing...to paraphrase (since I couldn't find the text of the clip...)..."People, it has only been 24 hours since the earthquake hit...The US weren't even this involved in New Orleans so soon after their tragedy"...2 things can be taken from this...First, GWB, the governments' reaction to New Orleans was unacceptable (all levels, not just federal), and even the butt of jokes internationally. Second, other nations can react in times of need alot quicker that the US ever could, when you look at the scale of tragedies...everyone knew Katrina and Rita were coming...earthquakes, unfortunately, are less predictable...
