Recent quarterly results from hydro utilities, shows unusually high gains in profits, however, when the time comes that we need power available (the summer), it seems that we have to go into "energy saving" mode.
I have a few questions...after all these years, why is it we can't have reliable cheap power? And can anyone tell me how much debt is left outstanding with the old Ontario Hydro?
With all the available capacity in hydrogenerating stations, we should never have a problem with rolling brown outs or other issues.
Its about time someone in the government go after these morons running our hydro plants, and get us into the 21st century.
