Weenie of the Week - Bill Blair

I am a couple of days late on the Weenie of the Week...better late than never. I don't ever have to worry about finding one, as it seems they all do something stupid that gets them the prize. The latest? Toronto police chief Bill Blair, for his comments at a news conference last Friday, commenting on the fatal shooting of a teen at a funeral...

"We had no intelligence on whether we should have been policing the funeral or not"...what a lame excuse. This is the politically correct answer actually. What he really meant to say was, "We had racially profiled the individuals involved, the deceased at the funeral, and the victim at the church, however, we decided not to act on it, because we would have shunned by the media and the community for profiling the individuals, and making our presence known".

When will the people of Toronto, and other crime infested cities realize that this is now a racial issue, and needs to be followed up? The only ones that cry racism are the ones that have something to hide...well, if you can't see that the problems with the shootings in Toronto this summer is racially motivated, then by all means, Toronto police, pull out and let them take care of their own problems, and maybe by the time they are done, the neighborhoods in the Finch area will be cleaned up.
Let's stop throwing tax dollars at a situation if you won't have the balls to call a spade a spade.
