There was an interesting article in the National Post about the high school students that got charged with sexual assault. One of the students says "I really don't understand what happened to me". How pathetic. If the students that got charged are guilty, his statement reflects the values that he has for women, and other people in society. I am sure that with this group of 16 students, this isn't the first time they have been up to no good.
If they guilty, I suggest that the parents also get charged as co-conspirators, since they are the ones that are responsible to instill the proper values into their kids. Problems with troublesome teens is the lack of parenting done these days, and the last few weeks in Toronto with the school sexual assault shows it
Maybe the governments will take heed and look at overhauling the Young Offender's Act.
